Once you become a member you will receive documents and templates to guide you through setting up your TruckSafe SMS. 

Setting up your system involves:

1. Understanding the business – your fleet, people, customers and existing systems. 
2. Selecting activities that apply to your operations
3. Identifying hazards and risks – using tools provided you can identify which hazards and risks are most applicable to your operation
4. Select controls – from the suggested controls you can customise controls for hazards and risks identified
5. Assign roles and evidence – identify who is responsible for which tasks and what evidence is needed to demonstrate the system is working
6. Implement and review – embed the selected tasks into your operations. Review regularly to ensure the system is effective
